Alaska Fly Anglers Inc is a small, Alaskan owned and operated, family run outfitter dedicated to offering fly fishing trips throughout the vast fisheries of Alaska. We pride ourselves on the knowledge attained over decades of active guiding, year round, in the 49th state. We specialize in small group trips with a personalized experience not found at the big lodge scene.  

John Hohl- A fly fisherman since the age of eight, John pursued his fly fishing obsession from an early age. He obtained a Bachelors of Science in fisheries biology to further his knowledge of the fish he pursues for a living. He has followed this angling obsession through more than a dozen nations and thousands of localities always returning home though to the greatest fishery in the world, Alaska. As a outfitter,guide, biologist, floatplane pilot, and casting instructor John breathes the fly fishing and Alaska lifestyle.

Levi Hohl- Levi has been an ardent angler for nearly his whole life. A knowledgable, cheerful and excellent guide, Levi knows how and where to put his anglers onto fish. An expert two handed caster and spey angler, Levi’s experience guiding and working in remote Alaska began at a early age. Guide, pilot and certified A&P aircraft mechanic, Levi has learned to combine these aspects of Alaskan life as his daily mantra.
